The most common (90%) gas tank containers are for the transportation and use of LNG/methane and their main technological advantage is the impossibility of storing gas for longer, which is usually 30 to 45 days, in some cases and with some manufacturers, up to 60 days.

The main reason for this is that a low temperature is required to maintain liquid petroleum gas, as well as an energy source that would maintain that temperature, that is, the problem is the pressure that needs to be achieved in the container, which must be regulated due to the external temperature, and thus the gas gradually leaving the container is quickly lost and cannot last long and therefore be used.
